Can someone explain the calorie deficit to me. You need to burn more calories than you take in...I've got that part...but how do you keep a balance between that and consuming enough calories to work out for a couple of hours a day? HELP!!!!!!!

Basically, you need to know how many calories a day your body type needs. How tall are you? What type of body frame do you have? and what is your weight? The average person needs 1500 calories a day to maintain or lose weight. Depending on your size, you may need more or less. Then you look at your workout routine. If you burn 500 calories in a workout, chances are you will lose weight. When you hit a plateau, you either have to up your intensity level or lower your caloric intake. I recommend uping your activity.
